Stage 1
Collect and Select
Use images and words or phrases to determine an idea, theme
Collect – open mind – subconscious
1. Select – edit – three grouping – general ideas
2. Revisit – Collect – add to collections
3. Verbalize – add words to each collection


Stage 2
Develop the idea / mood
Using colour, texture, patterns, lines and brushes
1. Use three colours to create a colour scheme
2. Determine the mood of colours dark /light, bright/subdue etc.
3. Lines determine sight lines – static dynamic
4. Textures, patterns, brushes help to create rhythm

Collect & Select

1. Open mind – Means you do not edit.

2. More is better – More images.

3. It may not fit my idea – Doesn’t matter.

4. Do not worry about file size.

5. Allow for equal value of each image.

6. Allow for ADD.

Posting images:

1. Check resolution dpi.
2. 72 dpi
3. RGB (red, green and blue)
4. JPEG file type

Profile

Software I have used in the past is Adobe Photoshop, Colorsplash and paint, I have used Photoshop in a previous media arts class for my entire grade 9 year, I used Colorsplash outside of school and I used paint outside of school as well.

I would like to learn how to edit videos, I would like to learn more on Photoshop and how to further enhance digital photography.

My areas of interest are, Photography, music, sports and mechanics.
